MY VISION FOR THE KIDS BAKE CLUB

My idea for the Kids Bake Club has come from parents asking and suggesting to have school holiday classes in our bakery or doing children’s parties.

Due to covid, the idea got put on the backbench.

It has still been on my mind, and I thought maybe I could do an online Kids Bake Club so no one is restricted by distance and the limited class numbers.

I plan to help parents or even grandparents to feel confident in teaching their children kitchen skills.

A parent’s guide will help determine your child’s skill level, what guidance would be needed, and how you, the parent, would be involved.

A new Kids Bake Club pack will be delivered each month digitally, and a Recipe for Success pathway to help guide what skills the child/ren can continually learn new skills and practice in the monthly recipes.

Each recipe will have a traffic light system that will suggest how much guidance the child may need depending on the skill level and age-appropriate tasks.

Our Kids Bake Club learning system provides a fun and engaging way for your children to develop valuable cooking and baking skills.

We are helping them improve their fine and gross motor skills while instilling essential kitchen safety practices and a sense of organisation and preparedness with the B-A-K-E-S system.
